UGC Content Creator Tips
#1 Be Accessible: Make sure that brands can find you! Whether that be on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc., be sure to make it EASY for brands to reach out to you. Some ideas:
- Put your email in all of your bios
- Have a landing back with your portfolio, contact info, etc.
- Make your username easy to remember
- Check your inbox (emails and any third party platforms) regularly so you can respond quickly
#2 Shoot For Long Term Contracts: When you are negotiating a deal or you’ve already completed one and are trying to work with the brand again – shoot for an ongoing partnership, preferably on a monthly basis. This creates more reliable income for you, requires less pitching, and allows you to build a relationship with the brand.
#3 Offer Package Deals: Instead of just one UGC video or a few UGC product photos, offer a variety of package deals . This allows the brand to get a better deal when purchasing your content but also makes it so that you can secure larger payouts.
#4 Continuously Spruce Up Your Portfolio: As video styles and trends evolve, your portfolio may start to seem outdated or overdone. Over time, the more content you make, the better you’ll get. Therefore, try to keep your best work in your portfolio.

#5 Put In The Time: Pitching, securing contracts, creating content, and so much more – takes time! Dedicate the time to putting in the work, stay consistent, and you’ll start seeing the results $$
